A tribute to Mario Lanza concert featuring tenor Francesco Verrecchia and soprano Makiko Awazu in an evening of Neapolitan songs, opera arias and musicals, accompanied by the Montreal Pop Chamber Orchestra and David Martin will be held this Saturday, August 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Georges St. Pierre Park in NDG (corner Oxford and Upper Lachine). The evening will be animated by tenor Manrico Tedeschi. The concert is free and is part of Italian Week in Montreal. In case of rain the concert will be held in the adjoinig community center.
