New and experienced tennis players can get tips, improve their techniques and play games at the Sports Experts Tour (Tournée Sports Experts) on Sunday, August 7, 2011, from 9 am to 11:30 am at Rembrandt Park in Côte Saint-Luc.

Now in its 18th year, the Sports Experts Tour visits 70 communities across Quebec promoting tennis. The event is open to all and is free of charge. In addition, there will be participation prizes and people can try new models of tennis rackets.

Public tennis courts in Côte Saint-Luc are open every day from May 14 to October 10, 2011. Rembrandt Park (near Kildare Rd.) has two tennis courts and costs $5 per person (or $4 per person age 17 and younger). Court use is free for residents who have a Côte Saint-Luc Fun Card, which gives members unlimited access to many recreation facilities. The Caldwell location (near Mackle Rd.) has five public tennis courts, which are scheduled to be renovated later this year. Private city operated tennis courts are also available to members of the Côte Saint-Luc Tennis Club (8215 Guelph Rd.), which was founded in 1959.
