The City of Côte Saint-Luc’s annual Halloween Skating Party on Ice will take place this year on Friday, October 30 from 4:30pm to 8:30pm while the Halloween Haunted House will occur on Friday, October 31 at 6pm. Both events will take place at the Samuel Moskovitch Arena (6985 Mackle Rd.). “Once again, the City of Côte Saint-Luc is providing a safe and fun environment for children and families who enjoy taking part in Halloween activities,” Mayor Anthony Housefather said. “The skating party and haunted house are extremely popular with young families.”

Admission to the Halloween Skating Party on Ice is free of charge for anyone dressed up in a costume. Music will be playing while special effects take place throughout the rink. Loot bags will be distributed to all participants and prizes will be awarded to those with the most creative costumes. The event is open to all ages. Donations will be accepted to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The Halloween Haunted House will welcome trick-or-treaters of all ages with tombstones, monsters and caskets filled with creatures. Anyone who enters will be given treats. Mad Science stations and other activities will be set up inside and outside the haunted house. There will be a light show in front of the arena. “I encourage families to come to the Samuel Moskovitch Arena for these two events,” said Councillor Steven Erdelyi, the chairperson of special events. “These activities are a great way to spend time with your children and to meet other young families in our community.”
