Each evening focuses on a specific wine region and introduces specific wineries and their products by the Head Sommelier of the Decanted Series, Guénaël Revel. This is followed by a commented wine tasting session, where guests receive an information kit describing the wines they have tasted as well as a personal evaluation chart which they may keep as a reference tool.
Then the music…After the wine tasting, the musical portion of the evening takes place, with local artists or touring artists. Some past performers have been double Juno award winner for Best International Album of the Year, Alex Cuba, who opened for Cesaria Evora at Place Des Arts, and more recently, NDG's very own Blues and Roots singer and songwriter, Rob Lutes.
On Wednesday, February 18, at 7 p.m. The Sicilian Jazz Project, with its intriguing mix of Sicilian folk music and modern jazz, is certain to please those in attendance.
